“True. But I don’t know who it’ll be. I just saw cookies and not in a euphemistic sense. Actual cookies. Damned if I know what that means.”
“Maybe Matt needs to hang out at The Honey Bear because his future wife is a baker.” Shane laughed.
“Or a Girl Scout troop leader.” Marc stood and stretched. “Well gentlemen, I have to take my fiancée home. She has to go back to work tomorrow, as do I. Shane, don’t forget that we’re upgrading your workout on Tuesday.”
Liv met him in the hallway and for a moment there was nothing else but her face and the way she looked at him. She grinned and he laughed, grabbing her and jogging out the door into the night full of possibilities.
